Michael Tienken is the only person to write a Rembrandts song and run for President of the United States. And while his 2008 Presidential bid fell short, "Mic T." has had a hand in writing a few of The Rembrandts' best songs. Michael was a sound engineer at the Whisky-A-Go-Go in the 70s/80s and ended up doing some sound work and songwriting with Great Buildings. In 1992, Michael contributed to The Rembrandts' Untitled, co-writing the great tracks I'll Come Callin' and One Horse Town. Mic T. continues to write with Phil Solem, colaborating on a handful of Thrush and recent Phil solo tunes. Check out Mic's quest to be thesmartestpersonintheworld Or just go to his myspace |
